Suspicious incidents reported on a yard in Leysters, Leominster. Pony let out of stable into yard – top and bottom external bolts undone, water turned on by the tack yard and pipe placed to flood the field on two occasions. Incident 233-S-290416 refers.
Suspicious incident reported in Easinghope Lane, Broadwas, Worcester where a field containing horses had its gate lifted off the hinges. Vehicle heard in the area during the early hours. Nothing reported stolen. Incident 120-S-270416 refers,
Burglary reported in Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove. Garage broken into and also a stable block. Items stolen include a Stihl chainsaw & strimmer and a Makita drill. Incident 51-S-280416 refers.
Horse trailer and storage container broken into in Upton Snodsbury, Worcester. Nothing reported stolen. Lock box and padlock cut and attempts to chisel open. Incident 241-S-260416 refers
Suspicious incident reported in Dodford area of Bromsgrove. Two males seen to be looking around the rear of premises and a vehicle parked up nearby. Vehicle described as a dark blue Landrover Discovery with partial registration of R341. Males described as white, 20-25 years old, tall and had Irish accents. Incident 119-S-260416 refers.
Stable block broken into in Brown Heath Lane, Newland, Droitwich. Offenders have smashed off an alarmed PIR system and smashed the padlock to gain entry, nothing appears stolen. Incident 158-S-260416 refers.
Suspicious Incident reported in Dairy Lane, Redditch. Teenage male seen to be chasing sheep and lambs in a farmer’s field. Described as a white male, black jacket, white long sleeved rugby shirt, dark trousers. Incident 683-S-190416 refers
Burglary reported in Martin Hussingtree, Worcester. A field shed has been entered by cutting the bolt and padlock. A John Deere tractor has been dragged from the shed, through the field and gate which was removed from its hinges. A white transit van has been seen in the area acting suspiciously. Entry has been forced to a stable block in Greete Road, Kidderminster. Metal grid has been ripped from the window in attempt to gain entry, actual entry gained by padlock removed from stable door and also a further internal door. Unknown if items removed. Incident 500-S-190416 refers

Suspicious Incident reported in the Welland area of Malvern. An unknown male has been seen on a yard asking questions about the horses and if he could buy one. Please be aware that a group referring to themselves as TELFORD HORSE WATCH are in no way associated with West Mercia Police or West Mercia Horse Watch. Members of this group have defaced and damaged WMHW signs for their own purpose. They undermine and sabotage the WMHW group and the hard work we put into the scheme. This is due to some of their group having been subject to the equine bailiff used for loose horses that cause risk to road users, members of the public and the animals themselves.
