Ifor Williams double axle trailer caged trailer stolen from Mordiford in Hereford.  Trailer displaying registration 474 HWP.  Suspicious vehicle seen in the area at the time described as a Silver Mitsubishi Shogun, short wheel base 53 plate.  Incident 517-S-090816 refers.

Ifor Williams 16’ tri axle trailer stolen from Broad Oak, Shrewsbury.  No other details available.  Incident 145-S-090816 refers.

Road traffic collision occurred this morning in Gobowen, Oswestry as a result of loose horses and a foal in the road.  No injuries to drivers and horses secured safe & well.  Please check your gates and fencing – loose horses are dangerous horses.

Burglary reported in Harvington, Kidderminster.  Locks damaged on stables and entry gained.  Landrover also stolen but later recovered.  Incident 150-s-300616 refers.

Incident Updates

Suspicious vehicle reported yesterday afternoon in the Broseley area of Telford.  Blue Peugeot 206 station wagon with a male described as aged 19-20 seen at a horses field.  When challenged he stated he was lost but no vehicle tracks apparent.  Incident 479-s-210616 refers

Wheels stolen from trailers in Stanklyn Lane, Kidderminster.  Trailers were in a field by stables.  2 rear wheels and mudguards taken from an Ifor Williams twin axle double horse trailer, 3 wheels taken from a St Claire twin axle double horse trailer.  Incident 142-s-220616 refers.

Suspicious incident reported in Longdon Upon Tern, Telford. 3 horses found loose in the road and yard gate was closed behind them. Headcollars were also found on the floor. Incident 443-S-200616 refers.

Numerous calls over the weekend (18/19 June) to loose horses in the following areas: Back lane, Tibberton, Newport. All recovered safe & well. Barnsley Hall Road, Bromsgrove. Officers attended and secured the horse. A41, Shifnal. Officers attended and horses secured safe and well.

PLEASE regularly check your fencing / gates / locks and also make sure you have appropriate insurance for your horses. Loose horses are dangerous horses and can cause fatal accidents. Please don’t let it be you.

Burglary of a stables in Foxes Lane, Broughall, Whitchurch. Fencing cut to gain access, quad bike and Ifor Williams trailer stolen. Left via gateway allowing horse to wander into the road.

Suspicious circumstances reported in Stanton Long, Much Marcle. Male disturbed in a barn and left in a white combi van where another male was waiting. Van described as having windows in the back doors and a distinctive roof rack with 4 poles sticking up from each corner and 2 white poles running across the van. No description of males given. Suspicious circumstances reported in Hancocks Lane, Malvern. 2 males seen walking across fields towards barns whilst 1 male remained in the vehicle. When challenged males stated they were looking for a dog chasing rabbits. Vehicle described as a green N reg Diahatsu. Incident 519-s-130616 refers.
